Membership

4.I. Membership of the fellowship shall be open to all those in the fivefold ministries and those functioning as ministers in the church and Para Christian organization.

4.II. Qualifications for membership shall include:

4.II.i. Must have a clear personal testimony of having repented of their sins and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour.

4.II.ii. He/She must be of a good living testimony and must be blameless in character and should be of a good reputation.

4.II.iii. If married, He/She must be married according to accepted scriptural principles and social standards.

4.II.iv. Must have a personal and verified calling upon their life. He/She must be actively serving the Lord Jesus in a Church or Para Christian Organization.

4.II.v. Must be in good standing in their local Church.

4.II.vi.He/She must be a fully paid up member . Membership fee is non refundable.

4.III. Application for Membership

III.i. Application for membership shall be done by filling in a form prescribed by the LMF.

4.III.ii. The completed application form shall be submitted to the Executive Committee with the following:

4.III. ii a. A hand written testimony of his/her conversion.

4.III. ii.b. A letter of recommendation from their supervisor or their executive committee.

4.III.ii.c. A letter of approval from the local church where he/she is a member.

4.III. ii.d. If married, a photo copy of the marriage certificate a written or verbal consent from spouse.

4.III. iii. Membership is renewable every year upon payment of membership fee. However, when and if a member is expelled from their fellowship, membership and funds paid shall be forfeited to the LMF.

III.iv. The Executive can discriminationally vary some of the requirements of membership.

4.IV. Rights of Members

4.IV.i Members have a right to introduce guests and make announcements through the Secretariat.

4.IV.ii. The individual has the right to withdraw his/her membership from the LMF.

4.IV.iii. It shall be the right of members to speak and vote during business meetings.

4.IV.iv. Only paid up members shall represent Lusaka Ministers Fellowship at local and international seminars and conferences and shall enjoy material and training benefits.

4.V. Duties of Members

4.V.i. It is the duty of every Luskaka Ministers Fellowship member to recruit other members into the fellowship.

4.V.ii. Members are expected to attend ALL meetings and functions whenever possible.

4.V.iii. Members should support and defend the cause and aspirations of the fellowship.

4.V.iv. Members are obliged to maintain confidentiality on matters of sensitive nature.

4.V.v. To render spiritual and material support to other ministers in need

4.V.vi. To pay his/her membership fee annually.

4.V.vii. To encourage other members through visitations, ministers’ exchange and personal presence at functions organised by other members, and encourage his/her members to attend.
