Statement of Faith

3.I. The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God and the only rule for Christian’s faith and conduct. 

 

3.II. That there is one God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

 

3.III. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles , in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the father , and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations.

 

3.IV. That the only means of salvation is through repentance towards God and faith in the Lord and that this results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

 

3.V. That the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides the healing of the human body in answer to believing and prayers.

 

3.VI. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

 

3.VII.  In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the one to everlasting life, and the other to everlasting damnation.

 

3.VIII. That the Lord left two ordinances to be administered by the church and to be observed in accordance with the teaching of the New Testament. These ordinances are: Water baptism, the mode of which is by immersion, and Lord’s Supper.
